Daryl Anderson has twenty years of derivative trading experience across most major asset classes. Most recently, Daryl was a partner and Head Trader of Qirin Quant Group, Ltd., a proprietary quantitative trading firm focused on Mainland China. Prior to Qirin, Daryl ran his own highly successful firm focused on algorithmic commodity and ETF market-making as well as macro position trading.
For several years prior, he traded ETFs and individual equities at various firms on proprietary basis. While at Tahoe Trading, LLC, he was also named Director of Interest Rate Risk Management for the firm’s derivative consulting group, advising clients how to hedge interest rate risk. Daryl traded ETFs for a division of MDNH Partners LP, one of the earliest and most successful ETF market-making firms. Prior to MDNH, he spent several years at AIG Trading Group, where he worked as an interbank swap dealer advising and providing derivative markets to the world’s largest corporations, hedge funds, and banks. Daryl also ran proprietary trading books for AIG that employed both arbitrage and macro strategies.
Daryl is a CFA charterholder with a B.S in Finance from Canisius College. He formerly held the Series 7, 63, 3, and 65 licenses, was a registered NASDAQ market-maker, a remote PHLX specialist, and NYMEX lessee.
